Arose this morning to enjoy coffee and the Pat-News but Bob informed me that no papers had been delivered on our block. Neighbor Rick Miller joined us on the back deck to complain that he hadn't received a paper either. He placed a quick call to the delivery person to learn that her van was stolen from her at gunpoint when she was on Meunch Street. No further details at the moment . . . Bob encountered a major accident at 7:30 this morning at Second and Forster. Police cars, fire truck, ambulance and at least one of the cars had its airbag deployed. He couldn't linger in the single-lane traffic to eyeball the scene further. No additional news about this . . .
